International Workshop on Autism Spectrum Disorder

This workshop is organized in recognition of the growing importance of autism awareness and support within society. It is particularly designed for educators, trainers, and families of children with autism, who require advanced knowledge and practical skills to effectively understand and support autistic children. Organizing this workshop with international participation will provide attendees with valuable opportunities to learn from global experiences, gain insight into internationally recognized practices, and explore how different countries approach autism education, intervention, and family support. Furthermore, this initiative aligns with the mission of the University of Zakho to strengthen the connection between the university and the community by offering programs that address societal needs. As part of this mission, the College of Basic Education plays a vital role in providing educational and psychological support services to educators and families of children with autism, while also promoting greater public awareness and understanding of autism.
